Bandelier National Monument 1-4-2016

Paige, Tobi, and I decided to visit Bandelier National Monument before the predicted snow arrived.

View of one of the dwellings from the Pueblo Indians. Which, we found out, left on their own accord and were not wiped out by the "white" hoards. My theory is that they got sick and tired of climbing up and down cliffs to get to their homes so they moved to flatter ground.

The mule deer again! They were not at all afraid of us humans! You get a close encounter for sure!

Tobi and Paige making a house visit. No one was home. They got tired of making that climb.

Front entrance to the house. A lawyer's dream!

View of the "hood".

Yep! We were going up there. After all, we were with Tobi.

Paige ascending the first of four ladders.

Next ladder! Just waiting!

Tobi and Paige at the top.

Rooms at the top house.

Heading down, which was actually harder...
