George Fredrick Handel/Jimmy Hendrix/Bike Tour/ and Jazz on the Thames

Handel/Hendrix House, a Three-hour Bike Tour, Mary Poppins Chimney Sweeps, a Cool Bridge, Jazz on the Thames, and a Bloody Wanky Photo Policy...

This is inside the Handel House. Handel, spent his entire London career renting this house. He could not purchase it because he was from Germany. This was taken right before I got yelled at by a crabby old woman for taking this picture. There were NO Signs informing us that we could not take pictures. After she yelled at me, she then informed us that we could take pictures as long as Tobi was in my pictures...REALLY???? What the heck kind of policy is that??

Jimmy Hendrix also lived in this house! He knew that Handel lived here and mentioned at one time that he never really listened to the chap's music, but he did listen to Bach now and again! No problems taking pictures in the Hendrix part of the house...rock and roll!

Tobi modeling some Handel House attire. It was OK to take this picture because Tobi was in it! Can you tell that this picture policy REALLY ticked me off???

We went on a three hour bike tour with a very nice English chap named Dominique. At times it was a bit unnerving as we weaved in and out of Friday afternoon London traffic. This is a picture of one of the spots where they filmed the Mary Poppins Chimney Sweep footage. Pretty cool! FYI: there was no picture taking policy on the bike ride

This is another footbridge in London named the Hungerford Bridge over the river Thames. I love the footbridges! We were told that the River Tames was at its highest peak in late April early may. We were also told that three days in a row of sun and 70 degree temps is unheard of in London!

We were walking along the Queens Walk by the Thames and I heard jazz trumpet. This guy was sitting below the walkway playing "Autumn Leaves" People were throwing pence onto the beach below. FYI: I was also allowed to take photos here as well
